This is our plan for reaching net zero across Scope 1, 2 and 3 by 2050 at the latest. It measures our first year of trading, shows where our emissions come from and records what we already do to keep them low.

Cordage Professional Services Limited is committed to achieving net zero emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 by 2050 at the latest.
We are the planning and architectural consultancy within Cordage Group: a team of seventeen working from one electrically heated office at Unit 5, Clovelly Business Park, Southbourne.
We hold no company vehicles and hold most meetings beyond our local area by video call, so our own footprint is small. The largest part of it is our team travelling to work by car.

Calculated with the UK Government greenhouse gas conversion factors for company reporting 2026, published by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Categories 4 and 9 are nil: we provide professional services and do not buy goods for onward distribution or sell products. This is our first reporting period, so current emissions and baseline emissions are the same.

We will report our emissions against this baseline in every update of the plan, so progress can be measured year by year.

What we already do.
These measures were in place throughout the reporting period and are reflected in the figures. The numbers match the notes on the drawing.
Electric heating
Our office is heated electrically and has no gas supply.
Video calls by default
Meetings beyond our local area are held by video call as standard.
No company vehicles
We hold no owned or leased vehicles.
Separated waste
General waste and mixed recycling are separated and collected weekly.

UK Government, 2026 set
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and the associated reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in line with Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions in line with the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard. The plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
