Founded in 1990 and part of the Cordage Group since 2022, PLC Architects is an architectural practice delivering thoughtful, well-considered design across residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. We provide a comprehensive range of architectural services, taking a collaborative and design-led approach focused on unlocking the full potential of every site and development.

With offices in Portsmouth, Chichester and London, we combine strong local knowledge with a national reach, working across the UK to deliver contextual, practical and commercially informed design solutions.

Our ARB-accredited team works closely with clients, consultants and stakeholders throughout every stage of the process, bringing clarity, experience and attention to detail from concept through to completion.

Planning & Design

We develop commercially aware concepts that respond to site context, planning policy, and stakeholder requirements. Acting between clients, planners, and consultants, we refine proposals, manage risk, and guide projects through approvals to deliver practical, well-resolved schemes.

Building Regulations

We oversee construction to ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with the design intent. By coordinating clients, contractors, and consultants, we maintain quality, control costs, and minimise delays throughout the build.

Construction

We ensure designs meet statutory requirements while maintaining quality, functionality, and efficient design development. Working with consultants and building control, we coordinate information, resolve issues, and streamline approvals to support compliant delivery.
