Cordage is delighted to share its plans to revitalise the former Morgans Furniture site on Clovelly Road — an important local employment area that has sadly stood vacant since Morgans Furniture ceased trading.
Despite efforts to find another furniture manufacturer, the highly specialised nature of the factory means it is unlikely to be reused in its current form. To bring the site back into productive use, Cordage is proposing a modern redevelopment that supports local business and jobs.
The proposal includes:
24 high-quality light industrial and commercial units (single and two-storey)
Potential to increase local employment beyond previous levels
